🔍Pumpkin Donations Needed

We’ve planned an amazing Data Management activity this Friday – where we explode pumpkins!

We need pumpkins to do this, though!

Please consider bringing in a nice medium-sized pumpkin! No carved jack-o-lanterns, please. It won’t work.

After we do our math/STEM activities, all pumpkin pieces will be donated to a goat farm – where we will be making some goats pretty happy with a delicious meal! Nothing will be wasted!

📢Student Volunteers Needed – Kindergarten Helpers

Grade 6 volunteers are needed to be official kindergarten helpers in the morning!

The school is looking for students who can arrive at 9am (so this means walkers who live closeby), who can help teachers on-duty walk kinders to the kinder yard in the morning from the kiss-and-drive inlet by the parking lot. The kinders are just too little to do the walk safely by themselves, so some Grade 6 buddies would mean the world!

I had two students do this the entire year last year, and they felt the position was highly rewarding! They loved it! Even in the rain and snow, these kids did an amazing job!

To volunteer, the students should arrive at 9am and talk to Mrs. Milks (the teacher on duty). She will provide the safety sashes and directions!
