Hello WEJ Parents,
The Hot Lunch Program is now accepting orders for Term 1 which covers Sep to Dec 2025. Orders can be placed now until midnight Saturday, September 27, 2025.
WEJ School Council will be offering Milk/Juice, Pizza and Subway lunches for all students in grades 1 – 6 this year! Please note that there won’t be any hot lunch program (food or beverage) available for kindergarten students.
Beverage (Monday – Friday): choices are: White milk (2%), chocolate milk (1%), and an orange juice box.
Note: Once you select a type of milk/juice, the same type of milk/juice will be delivered weekly for the rest of the term.
Subway (Tuesdays): Fresh, healthy sandwiches are offered in a 6-inch that’s perfect for children. Five tasty subs are available (ham, turkey breast, cold cut, tuna, and veggie), each with the choice of bread including gluten-free bread, cheese, toppings, and sauces.
Note#1: Only for the subway, parents can either order every week or alternating weeks or on selected dates.
Note#2: Please DO NOT forget to select bread, toppings, and sauces for each of the sandwiches.
Pizza (Wednesdays): Pizza slice choices are: cheese, veggie, and pepperoni. Also, gluten-free cheese, veggie, and pepperoni pizzas are available.
Note: Once you select a type of pizza, the same type of pizza will be delivered weekly for the rest of the term.
No Lunch Lady this year!
We are unable to offer Lunch Lady this year as they have changed the delivery method and no longer offering full service.
Milk and Juice deliveries start the week of Monday, Sep 29th.
Subway delivery starts the week of Tuesday, Sep 30th.
Pizza delivery starts the week of Wednesday, Oct 1st.
All food orders must be paid in advance by midnight Saturday, Sep 27th, 2025. If orders are NOT paid, then those orders will be canceled and as a result, no food will be delivered for those orders.
VOLUNTEERS: Similar to the previous year, WEJ School Council is looking for volunteers to help during the Hot Lunch program on Tuesday (Subway). If you are available for an hour (maximum) on any of the Tuesdays, then please send us an e-mail. Please note that based on the schedule, you ONLY have to do an hour of volunteering ONCE per month.
