On June 18th, we will be performing OZ! The Musical for the school and for YOU!
I’ve asked students to come up with their own costumes for their role(s).
Things are actually so much easier (and affordable) now than when I first started producing plays in the schools. I would like to ask that each student be responsible for their own costume, however I’ll help anyone who needs it! They just have to give me a lot of advance notice!
I was looking at the gorgeous costumes on Amazon for $30-$80. That’s always an option, but there’s nothing wrong with putting something together with cardboard, a glue gun, and some scrap fabric! Thrifting at Value Village or a store like that can result in some pretty cool finds! Dollar stores have lots of craft materials! Temu sometimes has just the right accessory!
